CONSTRUCTION
IMAGE A: CONSTRUCTION

CONSTRUCTION is a study of Sydney's cultural identity through visual representation. The artwork is "constructed" through the use of different materials and media, including painting, drawing and stencilling. The technique of collage symbolises the explaining nature and constant change of Sydney. The development of this artwork is what sparked my interest in architecture.

Fallingwater

IMAGE B: FALLINGWATER

Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater is to me, considered a great piece of architecture. The first reason is simply because it is  built on top of a waterfall, however the architect's relationship with it's location is what really interests me. He uses the remote location in Pennsylvania to enhance the design of the house. This can be seen through the use of natural tones and materials of house allowing it to blend into the environment, creating a harmonious balance with nature. This balance is something that can turn a good piece of architecture into a great piece of architecture.

Interior of Jumeirah Mosuqe

IMAGE C: JUMEIRAH MOSQUE

The interior of Jumeirah Mosque in Dubai.
This was taken in 2011 on my trip to Dubai and Bangladesh. The attention to detail in of this entire building is what makes it so beautiful. This can be seen by the patterning on the ceiling, and the placement of stones on the chandelier. This detail truly creates a breathtaking sight, and was one of the highlights of Dubai
